SAN and NAS both are storage type, there are some differences: 

SAN	NAS
SAN Stand for Storage Area Network	NAS Stand for Network Attached Storage
SAN Used Block level data access	NAS Used File Level data Access
Fiber Channel is Primary Media so speed is fast	Ethernet is Primary Media, so speed slow and depend of  network
SAN used SCSI	NAS Used NFS/CIFS
SAN Storage appear as own storage	NAS appear as a shared folder
